Laboratory Models Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps
HTC Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps are positive displacement pumps of simple and robust monoblock direct driven design. HTC offer these small, compact, single stage liquid ring vacuum pumps of this design have the following important features:
HTC Pumps are supplied ready for connection. Installation of separate motors and bed plates is eliminated. Compact design ensures that a minimum of space is requires. Pumps require a minimum of maintenance. Low noise and vibration levels. Virtually isothermal compression. Can be used for dry gases or for vapors. Limited quantities of liquid can be handled in addition to the gas or vapor being pumped. Service liquids other than water can be used. Thus, the service liquid can be chosen so that it is compatible with the process gas or vapor.
Design, Operation, Application:
Energy is transferred to the process gas via the liquid ring. Liquid ring pumps must, therefore, be continuously fed with service liquid during their periods of operation. The service liquid is normally water, but other liquids can also be used. The service liquid and the processed gas are discharged together through the discharge port. The service liquid must then be separated from the processes to prevent back pressure. Special rectangular separators which also function as service liquid tanks are available for the HTC range. HTC liquid ring vacuum pumps are single stage. The advanced design incorporates special valves which enables the pumps to be used with inlet pressures in the range 80 – 110 mbar (60 – 80 Torr.) HTC liquid ring vacuum pumps have mechanical sels, type ZN 311. the direction of rotation of pumps is clockwise when viewed from the drive end. at the client’s request, HTC liquid ring vacuum pumps can be supplied ready for connection with motor and service liquid tank. HTC liquid ring vacuum pumps have given excellent results when used for vacuum priming systems for centrifugal pumps of alltypes, for vacuum forming, dental equipments, milking machines, vacuum packaging (components), vacuum sewage system, evacuation of condensers, for vacuum condensate recovery and for general vacuum services, in both factories and laboratories.
